Trekt

The fourth planet of the Sirius B system, one of the binary stars in the Sirius system in the constellation Big Dog. Trekt is 83% land. The lakes are mostly water. Due to the completely different bacterial flora of the planet, water is only suitable for human drinking after filtration. Trek animals drink water directly. Their metabolism is adapted to the local water.

History

During the first contact with the atmosphere, people experienced breathing problems. Breathing without a suit on the surface is impossible due to the harmful substance secreted by matys, which irritates the entire respiratory system. Prolonged exposure to air would cause lung damage, if the victim had not received medical attention, he would have died within 12 hours.

To breathe outside you need to take an injection of bacteria that cleanse the respiratory system and chew gum that supports the action of these bacteria. The air on the planet is quite clear, even Earth-like. Precipitation is frequent. It usually rains normally. Occasionally fog may occur.
The first noticeable difference between the home Earth, aside from the atmosphere, is the lower gravity caused by the planet’s faster rotation and much less mass. If it were not for the very small diameter, gravity would not keep anyone on the surface of the planet.

Another noticeable feature of the planet Trekt is the very strong wind caused by its rapid rotation and the two moons. On the tops of mountains and higher hills, winds reach 200 km / h. Basins and valleys are also dangerous in this respect. In the polar regions, the wind speed reaches even 500 km / h, which makes life impossible for people there. The perceptible weight of each person and objects will decrease by about 20%.

A day on Trekt lasts 16 hours. The day is very bright and well sunlit by Sirius B, and at night it is usually quite bright because of the 2 moons.

Planet grounds

The entire planet is evenly covered with mossy moss, which is found even in the polar regions, but in a different form. Its polar form can grow even at temperatures as low as -60 ° C. It grows extremely fast in tropical and equatorial areas. The 10 m2 that has been whitewashed will fully grow in 4 hours. To prevent it from growing on buildings or vehicles, you need to spray any alcohol on the base. It turns green. Only in the middle of caves, where it also often appears, does it have a more subdued shade of green, sometimes even turning gray. In some places it builds up at one point to form a spherical tree. It is composed of a dozen or so layers of this moss. Trees often occur in numerous clusters where they form forests. The density of forests is very different, some cannot even be entered without having to walk on matis balls of various sizes. In addition to Matis forests, in many places there are more extensive forests composed of various varieties of ball-shaped roots. These roots form a very complex network of their flora in some places. The more fertile of them produce various kinds of flowers that serve as food for herbivores. These flowers are of various colors, but blue and purple dominate among them. Vegetation consists mainly of tubes and bubbles of various diameters. Most of the flora is fairly short, but very extensive compared to the vegetation on Earth.
In caves and underground, the planet is rich in deposits of various minerals and natural resources. In Greenglow databases there are maps with geodetic surveys, which indicate the best locations of energy resources (natural gas, oil, coal), metals (iron, lead) and construction (markers and clay).

The sizes of plants occurring in the jungle range from small “flowers” (20 cm span and 4 cm high), through several meters tall trees (15 meters span and 3 meters high), to colossi that could span the city (approx. 10 meters high) ). Some plants are so large that a group of travelers can move around inside them without having to bend down all the time. Colossi forests can span hundreds of kilometers. Terrain The shape of the terrain is very uneven and undulating. The entire surface of the Trekt is mainly hills of various shapes and caves here and there. Steep hills often force travelers to wander and find a road that can pass.

Local Alliances

Due to the large number of Bases and their various functions, they are dependent on each other. One focuses on food production, the other is typically mining, and the other is entertainment and residential. For this reason, it was necessary to build a road and rail network enabling land communication between bases. Traditional passenger vehicles, trucks and trains complemented the fast but very expensive medium-range teleportation.

MultiMine Anthracite

MultiMine department working on Anthracite territories. MultiMine staff rails were made in one coherent mono rail electromagnetic technology. They enabled very fast land communication between bases. Due to the large distances between cities (300-600 km), a train with 10 carriages and 200 tons of goods quickly accelerated to 700 km / h.

Bullets

A small group of Bullets who had been on Antracita for a long time, before the earth catastrophe, were preparing to mine galvaon on their own. They built a dozen or so of their own bases, which were connected by a network of makeshift railway tracks. Their turn used Galvaon propulsion.

IMSA

The community was created as a result of the division of MultiMine employees and their families. People at IMSA do not believe in the return of the employer and they decided to take matters into their own hands, building their own bases. Not everywhere they had access to the galvaon refinery, so their bases often used photovoltaic cells and solar collectors located on the roofs of buildings.

ACP

Alliance of Common Planets established 3 big cities on plantes surface. They were planning to cooperate with MultiMine.
