Tactical Troops is a military-mercenary organization founded in 2081. While maintaining military principles and structure, they differ from traditional military in that they do not belong to any country or planet. They are rented by them. Depending on the budget, they can support the client with a team, platoon or even a regiment. They keep a uniform rate for everyone, emphasizing their independence from politics or religion.

The individual units are clones artificially created in biofactory plants. Soldiers are biologically modified and strengthened to be more combat-efficient and able to withstand the harsh external conditions that prevail on many planets. Clones are “born” in bodies suitable for 17-year-old people with pre-programmed combat predispositions, and then undergo four years of basic training. The soldier training consists of 14 hours of physical and mental training and the theory of weapons, equipment and tactics. After training, they can be assigned to missions.

• The TT organizational units are a simplified version of the military organizational units.
• Team (squad): from 3 to 6 soldiers
• Platoon: 2 to 5 teams
• Company: 2 to 10 platoons
• Regiment: assigned e.g. to the entire planet, from 2 to 20 companies
• Army: all TT soldiers

In the ranks of the TT there is a military regime as well as special military ranks.

• Recruit (first 3 years of training)
• Senior recruit (last year of training, takes part in combat actions)

• Corporal (commands the squad)
• Senior Corporal
• Platoon commander
• Lieutenant
• Captain
• Major (commands a company)

• General (commander-in-chief of the TT army)

When a senior recruit is promoted to a private rank, he is assigned to a specialization within which he will develop. These include:

• Specialist operator (assault)
• Heavy support, specialist in explosives and heavy weapons
• Medic
• Technician, specialists in mechanical and electronic security
• Sharpshooter
• Scout

Tactical Troops do not adhere to any ideology or religion. The contract is always the most important thing, and withdrawing from it is never considered. They accept orders for which they are paid, regardless of the client or his motives. Sometimes it happens that different units have conflicting mission objectives, which leads to fratricidal fights between TT soldiers. Breaking a deal is never an option and desertion is punishable by death.
The situation that befell Antracita and the Multimine mines at the turn of the century perfectly illustrates this “business” model of Tactical Troops. The regiment stationed at Pots was hired by the Bullets, the regiment at Antracita was hired by MultiMine for security, and the regiment stationed at Unicentra, the ACP headquarters, was hired by the ACP.

TT soldiers, despite their artificial origin, retain human feelings and empathy, although these feelings are slightly muffled. Everyone is aware of being a clone, and this is normal for them. Gender control allows 66% of males to females. The clones are slightly different from each other, but you can see that they are from one “family”, like brothers and sisters.
